Who We Are & Why we exist
Travel To Dive is an independent scuba diving travel platform built to help divers make better decisions before booking a dive trip.
After more than a decade as a PADI Staff Instructor and over 10,000 hours underwater — from heavy surf launches in South Africa to remote liveaboards across Indonesia, Mozambique, Egypt and the Caribbean — I’ve seen how often divers book trips based on hype rather than fit.
This platform exists to fix that.
We focus on liveaboard diving destinations around the world — breaking down where to go, when to go, what you’ll realistically see, and who each destination is actually suited for. The goal is simple: help you choose the right dive trip with clarity and confidence.
Travel To Dive isn’t a traditional travel agency.
It’s a diver-led research platform built on real-world experience, seven years of planning international dive travel, and matching divers to the right destinations based on skill level, expectations, and conditions.
What We Do
- Research and break down dive destinations, seasons, and routes
- Publish practical guides, tips, and decision frameworks
- Compare options so divers understand trade-offs
- Share equipment, planning, and safety insights from real dive experience
- Connect divers to trusted booking partners when they’re ready
How We Make Money
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click through and make a booking, we may earn a commission — at no extra cost to you.
This supports the platform and allows us to keep publishing in-depth, experience-backed content for the diving community.
We only work with partners we believe offer genuine value to divers — based on real operational experience, not sponsorship.
Our Approach
- Diver-first, not sales-first
- Real-world conditions over marketing promises
- Clear explanations over hype
- Honest guidance, even when a destination isn’t right for everyone
- Continuous updates as seasons, routes, and conditions change
Travel To Dive exists to reduce uncertainty, save you time, and help you get more out of every dive trip — underwater and above it.
