Its itineraries feature diverse dive sites, from vibrant coral gardens filled with macro life to thrilling drift dives where sharks and manta rays roam. The spacious dive deck, dedicated camera room, and rinsing stations provide comfort and convenience, especially for underwater photographers.

Nitrox is available for extended bottom time, while small guided dive groups ensure a personalized experience. Equipped with dive tenders, the White Pearl reaches remote dive sites effortlessly, and high-quality rental gear is available for those without their own equipment.
Blending adventure with comfort, the White Pearl’s premium facilities make every dive seamless and enjoyable. Whether exploring deep wrecks, drifting through strong currents, or leisurely diving along coral reefs, guests can expect a well-supported and unforgettable underwater journey. Below is a breakdown of the White Pearl’s key diving routes and highlights.
Best of the Central Atolls
This itinerary explores some of the most famous dive sites across North Malé, South Malé, and Ari Atoll. Divers can experience the legendary Maaya Thila, a vibrant reef known for whitetip sharks, stingrays, and barracudas. Other highlights include Fish Head, where gray reef sharks patrol, and Kandooma Thila, offering stunning overhangs and schooling jackfish.
South Maldives – Pelagic Encounters
For those seeking action-packed drift dives and big pelagic species, this itinerary focuses on the atolls of Vaavu, Meemu, Thaa, and Laamu. Strong currents attract hammerhead sharks, tiger sharks, and eagle rays, while sites like Fotteyo Kandu offer dramatic topography with caves and swim-throughs. The deeper channels in the Southern Atolls are a haven for advanced divers looking for thrilling encounters with sharks and manta rays.
Deep South & Remote Atolls
This adventure takes divers off the beaten path to the Huvadhoo and Addu Atolls, home to some of the least-explored dive sites in the Maldives. The nutrient-rich waters attract large schools of sharks, oceanic mantas, and even whale sharks. Addu Atoll is also home to the famous British Loyalty Wreck, one of the most well-preserved World War II wreck dives in the country.
Northern Atolls & Hanifaru Bay
During the manta ray season (June to November), White Pearl schedules itineraries to Baa Atoll, where divers can witness the spectacular manta ray aggregation at Hanifaru Bay. This UNESCO Biosphere Reserve hosts hundreds of mantas and occasional whale sharks, creating an unforgettable underwater spectacle. Other dive sites in Raa and Lhaviyani Atolls feature pristine coral reefs and encounters with nurse sharks and schooling snappers.
